These results, which were conducted by the Young and Well CRC, take an even closer look into how dependent we really are upon digital technology. The Young and Well CRC examines who uses the internet, how long they use it, and where they use it. It was found that 98% of the world uses the Internet, 94% uses it daily, 82% use it to contact young people, and 74% access it in their bedrooms, among other results. All of this is key information to understand the amount of influence the internet has on our lives, how dependent we are on digital technology, and how technology has helped create an anti-social generation.
